Case Study · Ferrari
A visual system built to race
Ferrari entered competitive esports and needed an entire visual world from zero — one that could go live on broadcast, scale across digital, and stay unmistakably Ferrari season after season. We owned it end to end, for three.
A championship with no playbook
Ferrari took its name into competitive racing online. There was no existing toolkit and no precedent to lean on — the championship needed a full visual ecosystem from scratch, able to hold up across digital platforms, live broadcast and global communication at the same time.
The hard part was never a logo. It was building a system that performed live, scaled across markets, and still read as Ferrari at a glance — under the pressure of a real broadcast, week after week.
One team, one system
We led the project as creative direction and design, owning the whole visual world rather than delivering a single asset. Every output inherited the same language, the same motion logic, the same rules.
- Visual identity the design language, grid and motion system that everything else was built on.
- Broadcast graphics live overlays, lower-thirds and replay packages engineered to perform on air.
- Digital & campaign web, social and content systems that carried the identity across every platform.
- Motion & events video direction and on-site visual systems for studio and live moments.
Season 1 — Foundation
The first season set the ground rules: a core visual language and a broadcast identity strong enough to build on. We defined the grid, the motion logic and the overlay system that everything else would inherit — a foundation, not a one-off.
Season 2 — Expansion
With the foundation live, season two scaled up: more content, more formats, more competitive structure. We evolved the broadcast package and the digital system to carry higher volume without losing a single beat of consistency.
Season 3 — Maturity
By the third season the system was at full maturity — running live competition, digital communication and physical environments while staying clear, fast and coherent under pressure.

Impact
Renewed for three consecutive seasons, the project became a stable, recognizable visual ecosystem. Longevity was the result that mattered: a system that kept performing live and adapting over time, never rebuilt from scratch — proof that the foundation was right the first time.
Project FAQ
- What was the challenge?
- Building one visual ecosystem that could operate globally across competitive esports, live broadcast and physical events — and stay consistent and clear across three seasons, from screen to on-site.
- What was Neverblank's role?
- Creative direction and design, end to end: identity, broadcast graphics, digital, social, motion and event systems, owned and coordinated across every season.
- Why is this relevant for similar brands?
- It's a blueprint for any brand launching an esports, gaming or live-entertainment property: a scalable system designed to perform live, span platforms and evolve over time instead of being remade every year.
